This course is designed for students who have received an offer to study for a degree at the University of Brighton, and will help you improve your English before you start.  It is taught in three 4-week modules and normally attendance on the Pre-sessional course will be a condition of your offer from the university.  The final 4-week module will concentrate on academic English and the study skills needed for your chosen degree.  Entry requirement for the Pre-sessional course starts at IELTS 5 with 5.0 in writing, but if you complete the Pre-sessional course successfully you can progress straight to your degree without taking another IELTS test.
