Other Information

Students have English lessons at school each weekday morning and 3 hours of outdoor adventure activities in the afternoons from Tuesday to Friday.

Activities include windsurfing, mountain biking, climbing, paddle boarding and kayaking. They are all based around the Weymouth and Portland area, a natural playground for those who love being outside. The activity centre is based at Portland harbour, home to the 2012 Olympic sailing.

All sessions are run by highly experienced instructors and college lecturers. They are adapted for individual groups to ensure that all students get the most out of the experience, learning new skills and having great fun.

The weekly activities are flexible and will be discussed and planned with the students.

Travel to and from the different sites as well as all equipment is provided.

This course is suitable for students of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, the experienced instructors will ensure that this is a course you should remember for the rest of your life!

In the evenings and at weekends you will have a full programme of activities.

4 evening activities each week - eg. talent show, karaoke, pizza & games, disco, barn dance, cinema, quiz night, fashion show, blind date and more

1 full day trip each Saturday - eg. London including sightseeing; Oxford including punting; Salisbury und Stonehenge; Bath and the Roman Baths; Cheddar and Wells

All the costs of this programme are included in the course fees.

Before the students even come to Weymouth, we will send them access details for a special page on our website where they will be able to choose some of the activities they would like to do. They can book and change their activities via a PC, tablet or smart phone at any time up to 24 hours before the activity starts.

Each student ends up with an individually designed programme.
