Bath is a unique city, with Roman Baths and Georgian architecture set in green rolling hills. It is Britain’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site city.
The University of Bath has an excellent academic reputation and is regularly ranked in the top ten in the UK. The campus is on a hill above the city, ten minutes from the centre. It has a new Library and Learning Centre open 24 hours a day with 380 computer workstations.
There are also world-class sports facilities with an Olympic swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, and a gymnasium and fitness centre.
The English Language Centre has a team of excellent, highly-experienced teachers.
The ELC’s core roles are:
- to provide support teaching in English for Academic purposes (EAP) to the University’s international undergraduate and postgraduate students to enable them to complete their academic studies.
- to provide on request by the University’s departments language training programmes targeting specific needs.
- to provide staff and students in all departments with advice and guidance in all matters relating to the testing of English language proficiency.
