For more than 35 years, we've been helping young people
from all over the world to improve their command of English.

During this time, over 50, 000 students have spent the
summer with us and, at the same time, have enjoyed a
complete English experience. They've sampled our culture,
visited our many famous landmarks and, above all,
discovered that learning English can be enormous fun!

The perfect location
Our six residential Summer Schools are all
within easy reach of London, Heathrow
airport and some of England's most
historic towns and cities.

The right course for you

We offer a choice of programmes one
of which should be exactly right for
you. All courses are aligned to the
European Framework of Reference
for Languages.

Young Learners have a choice of five centres and three different teaching programmes held at some of the most famous boarding schools in England:

• At Bradfield, Epsom and Tonbridge you'll
prepare for the internationally-recognised
Trinity College Graded Examinations in
Spoken English
. There are 25 lessons a
week, each of 40 minutes.
• At Rugby there is a more intensive version
of this course with 30 lessons a week.
• At Sevenoaks, you'll follow a General English course, covering all four language skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking.

In the afternoons and evenings teachers and specialist staff will organise a whole host of activities for you to choose from. There are also excursions to places like Canterbury, Cambridge, Windsor and, from most centres, regular trips to London.

There's one adult in residence for every six
students. Each boarding house is supervised
by an experienced Housemaster or
Housemistress
who is responsible for your
personal safety and welfare 24 hours a day.

Young Adults are based at the University of Westminster in central London.

The teaching programme is designed to help you pass the Trinity College Spoken English for Work examination, focussing specifically on the speaking and listening skills you're likely to use in work situations. There are 25 lessons a week and the average class size is 9 students.

Classes, dining facilities and accommodation are all on site. All rooms are en-suite and have internet connections.

Oxford Street is a 15 minute walk away.
Included in fees are trips to London's main museums and galleries and evening visits to a West End musical or the London Eye.

Senior staff live on campus.
