Course outline

A variety of fascinating modules are available for study, ensuring students make the most of their time abroad. Students choosing academic modules must be available for the entire semester, including exams which may take place in June. The programme is split into two parts:

Part 1

You will study a full-time intensive course of academic English language and study skills for a minimum of one term, up to 20 hours per week, in order to reach the level required to study your selected undergraduate modules in Part 2. Part 1 will equip you with the language skills required for international communication and academic study.

Part 2

Select academic modules suitable for your level with the aid and advice of your tutor. You will study your academic modules the University of Gloucestershire alongside local and international students and continue to benefit from academic English classes to compliment your studies.

This programme is suitable for undergraduate students who would like to spend time in the UK or US developing their English language skills.

Study Abroad with English is ideal if you wish to spend a year in the UK developing English skills, with the opportunity to gain university credit through academic study at the University of Gloucestershire.
