Bucky Adventure is for students aged 13 - 16 who want more 'adventure' in their activities: horse-riding; mountain biking; kayakinng; raft building; orienteering; and Survival Night. It's action-packed, challenging and very rewarding. The course consists of the Bucksmore Summer English Language programme in the morning but with more afternoon action and adventure!
Plumpton College, located at the foot of the South Downs and only 30 minutes from the seaside town of Brighton, is the perfect place for an adventure programme. Ardingley Sports Centre is only minutes away and students enjoy mountain biking on the hills.
All Bucky Adventure students receive 18 full hours of English per week. There are two full day and two half day excursions per week. All entrance fees are included in excursions and trips. Students will have the opportunity to visit many different places including London.
Bucksmore operate an airport meet and greet service for all students to and from London Heathrow or Gatwick airport. Students are transferred to the centre on arrival and returned to the airport on departure. A member of the Bucksmore team meets them at the airport and accompanies them on the departure.
The accommodation at Plumpton is mainly single rooms although there are a few twin rooms. The Bucksmore staff are on site 24 hours a day and the college staff are on hand to ensure the security and safety of all our students.
It is a very full programme with students taking part in activities every afternoon and evening. Students take part in sporting, creative, cultural and social activities.
Our students use English while having fun and mixing with students from many different nationalities!
