Other Information
Cambridge Advanced Studies Program is a stimulating course which allows students to specialise in subjects they are passionate about. Academically challenging courses are studied with American students in the perfect surroundings of one of Cambridge University’s oldest colleges.
All subject teaching is done in small groups with expert tutors. Students choose 2 subjects in advance from a diverse and exciting list of options from International Business Management to English Poetry. A full academic programme is combined with extra-curricular activities in and around the famous city of Cambridge.
The academic programme is split across three different areas, subject tuition, master classes and workshops. Each student will have 8 hours of tuition in each subject over two weeks. Optional SAT & IELTS classes are also available. Weekly master classes will focus on improving the key skills of presenting, negotiating, debating & problem solving. Finally, there will be 3 workshop sessions over the two weeks allowing students to try something new. Options include drama, creative writing, stand up comedy and more.
Aside from the academics students will have one half-day and three full-day excursions over a two-week course. The course is suitable for native speakers as well as those students who have an advanced level of English language speaking.
