The Afternoon Course is for 6 hours per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 14.00 and 16.00. We will need to check your English level first before we can offer you a place.

This course is for students who already live in the Cambridge area and don’t have time for full-time study.

It also forms part of the Intensive Course. This course is only available for students with at least B1 (Intermediate) level.

The aim of this course is to improve speaking and listening skills and build students’ vocabulary. We also support students who are studying for the IELTS and Cambridge exams (e.g. B2 First, C1 Advanced). A typical week may include:

• Understanding natural English.

• Taking part in a debate.

• Learning and using words and phrases on different topic areas, e.g. travel, food, work and education.

• Practising speaking and listening parts of the IELTS and Cambridge exams
