The Trinity Diploma in TESOL is designed for EFL/ESOL teachers with teaching experience of 2 years or more. The Diploma opens doors to new career opportunities to become Directors of Studies, teacher trainers, course book writers or even opening your own school.

Together with other candidates, you'll work through a 24-week online course, discussing coursework and exchanging ideas through lessons, workshops, tutorials, video, presentations and discussion forums, whilst getting valuable feedback from your tutors throughout. 

The 24-week Moodle course is followed by a 2-week in-school session in Edinburgh, UK, where you'll come together with other candidates for your observed teaching practice, practical workshops, further individual support from your tutors and the exam. 

You will also develop a portfolio of three assignments which you can begin working on before as soon as your application has been approved. 

The course is designed to meet the needs of candidates with a practical course that links theory with the practical classroom. It is structured to fit in with the busy working lives of practising teachers and can be taken intensively over 7 months or extended over 9 - 11 months.
